Why did these marines who didn't have a reason to stay, stay and help 30 refugees who never needed help even after ordered off the mission?

Many would have gone home but they stayed. They stayed on till death and the final mission. When they saw the carnage of the militants, they just couldn't stand by and do nothing. They had to do something to save all these people and give the country hope. Was this love? They gave time and sacrifice, indeed there was love.

Like the marines, God couldn't just stand by and do nothing. He loved us. He wanted to be reconciled with us. Jesus Christ was sent in the form of God's son to earth and stayed on till death. Before His sacrifice; He was taken as a criminal, politician, revolutionist, and hero. The pressures were on Him yet because He loves us so much, He allowed it to happen. He resisted from fighting back, He refused to strike the men who accused Him down, He wanted to keep us safe from something. He wanted to save us from a punishment we really deserved, but He took that punishment for us instead to cleanse us from sin which made us guilty. He just couldn't stand by and do nothing. He had to give up His status as God to Sacrifice for the sins of man. He made us innocent by His blood and rose from the dead to give us life everlasting.
